Scripps Communities of Resources and Empowerment (SCORE)
Our students enjoy an immersive, holistic, residential experience with access to career preparation resources that begin their first year, immersive leadership treks, and guidance from supportive, experienced staff.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Scripps provides many opportunities for students to gain leadership experience through clubs and organizations, involvement on the Board of Trustees, student government, and on-campus work.
Scripps Associated Students (SAS) president Melina Durre ’25 wants people to know that SAS is a place of support for the student body.
CAREER PLANNING AND RESOURCES
Signature programming for students begins during their first week on campus. Students also participate in the Emerging Professionals program, a week-long intensive of programming, Career Exploration Treks, on-site employer visits in major metropolitan areas, and benefit from internship grants which support unpaid summer internships.

The Equity and Justice leadership team fostered community building through partnerships with Scripps Associated Students (SAS) and the Laspa Center’s Student Leadership Institute, the development of community gatherings, listening sessions, and a voting converaction, and its monthly newsletters.
Alums And Families
Alums and families strengthen the Scripps community through their active participation as College ambassadors, giving back generously of their time and resources as volunteers, mentors, event-goers, donors, and more.
Regardless of the year they graduated, our alums comment on how their Scripps education not only prepared them for careers, graduate school, and post-graduate fellowships, but also prepared them for life.
